TAPROOM BAR STAFF

We are a modern Scottish brewery, established in 2021 by a team with extensive craft beer and brewing careers. We create sessionable precision brewed beers for a wide range of people to enjoy time and time again.

Moonwake means: “the moon’s reflection on a body of water” speaks to the brewery’s Leith Shore location, the importance of water as an ingredient, and our beers’ reflection of our combined experience. We believe there is a beer out there for everyone.

• Your role will be based in the taproom at the brewery site, but may also involve attending events during the festival season.
• You will be working 15 hours during our opening times of Saturday and Sunday each week, but we would like someone who is also flexible to cover Thursday, Friday and possible event days when needed.
• Greeting and serving our customers alongside our taproom manager.
• You would be providing brewery tours to our guests, full training shall be provided.
• You will also be required to change kegs and replenish stock in the taproom. Training can be supplied for this.
• You will report to our taproom manager who will be responsible for your management.
• You will be given training on the brewing process and our beers so you can talk to our customers about what we do.
• You will be a face of the company and should always behave in a manner appropriate for this role. You must be driven and have a want to better the company and yourself.
• You will be able to work our Lunarpalooza beer festival 26th-28th July 2024.

EXPERIENCE

Previous bar work experience is preferred but we will consider all applications for this role. You need to be a good communicator, work well with others and have first class customer service skills. You will have to have the ability to be challenged by us but also have the confidence to challenge us in return. You should have good problem solving and customer relations skills, but equally as important a passion for beer and the products we create with the keenness to learn.
